Adding Users in Windchill PDMLink
The following is an overview of how to add Windchill users to ESI groups. This can be achieved using the Participant Administration utility. For more information, refer to the topic Using the Participant Administration Utility
1. Verify that the following Windchill ESI groups and their values have been created in Windchill PDMLink:

Those who can administer ESI. They could be ESI Administrator and Change AdminIII role principal

Those who use ESI. They could be Engineer role principal

2. If needed, create new users to add to the Windchill ESI groups. Set appropriate values such as usernames, full names, passwords, and domains.
3. Add the new users you created in the previous step or existing users to the Windchill ESI groups. For more information on participant administration, refer to the topic Using the Participant Administration Utility.
4. If users need to access the ESI transaction from Enterprise Systems Transaction Administration pages, add those users into both the ESI Administrators group and the Administrators group. For more information on roles and groups, refer to the topic About Roles and Groups.
5. If required, create ESI roles in a specific product team.
6. Add users or ESI groups to ESI roles or any other role in the product team.
7. Verify that the ESI groups are part of the change notice team. For more information on team templates, refer to the topic Out-of-the-Box Team Templates.
8. If required, add other users or groups to the change notice team.
