Reconciling the Change Intent with Release Targets
This topic explains how the change intent of the affected objects is reconciled with the release target of the resulting objects.
For every object, there are life cycle states, and these states are assigned in a life cycle template. For more information on life cycle states, see
Life Cycle Template Editor. For each state, there are transitions that are defined when an object goes through the change process. These transitions are displayed in the
Release Target column of the resulting object table.
If the Change Intent Release Targets mapping rule is not defined, the Release Target column displays the transition values from the life cycle template. When you define the mapping rule, the mapped values of the rule are also considered for the affected object types. Therefore, only a common value between the transitions of the life cycle and the mapped value of the mapping rule is displayed in the Release Target column.

The wt.change2.showAllChangeTransitions property controls the availability of transition values.
