About Change Investigations

Change investigations are objects that were migrated from legacy systems. Customers have limited actions on these objects. You cannot create and edit change investigations.

A change investigation 
organizes information about the cause of the problem or information about the feasibility of a proposed solution. If the research required to support the change investigation is very detailed or complicated, several analysis activities may exist to organize the investigation into logical pieces. The use of change investigations is an optional part of the change process and may not be defined on all change requests.
