AutoCAD Standard Drawing Definition
The preference “AutoCAD Standard Drawing Definition” controls how the system identifies which drawings are standard against design drawings in AutoCAD, when the system parameter, PTC_STD_DWG is not defined. Allowed values for this preference are: “filename” and “attribute_only”. The default value is set to “attribute_only”.

Setting the value to filename
When the value is set to filename for “AutoCAD Standard Drawing Definition” and allied preference “Standard Drawing File Name” value is set to *_XREF.dwg with user defined naming pattern, then saving drawings with similar pattern in filename will be treated as “Standard Drawing” by showing sub-category as “Standard Drawing”.
Setting the value to attribute_only
When the value is set to “attribute_only” and if drawing is defined with user defined parameter PTC_STD_DWG with the value set to ‘true’ then, drawing will be treated as “Standard Drawing” by showing sub-category as “Standard Drawing”.
