The media overview table that follows lists the media that is available for the Windchill 12.1.0.0 release. You can either electronically download the media or order physical media from the Order or Download Software page on PTC.com,
The table contains a row for each Windchill 12.1.0.0 product or module, including the following information:
• Datecode—Specifies the latest datecode for the media.
• PSI Support—Indicates whether the PTC Solution Installer (PSI) is used to install the media.
◦ Yes—The PSI is used to install the media. During installation, the PSI prompts for the user for the correct media version.
◦ No—The media is not installed using the PSI. Installation information is provided in the installation guide available on the media, or is downloadable from the PTC website.
◦ Based on the install scenario, the following considerations apply for downloading the media:
▪ New installation—download all the latest media files for Windchill 12.1.0.0.
▪ Upgrading to Windchill 12.1.0.0 release—download all the applicable media files listed in the table for a successful upgrade.
