PDM Action Availability
PDM (product data management) actions are used to manage your CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE data in Windchill .
When the CAD application is connected to Windchill Workgroup Manager, some PDM actions become active in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE (for example, Check In and Check Out).
The following lists show available PDM actions and the areas from which they can be accessed.
• Available only from CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
◦ Save to Workspace
• Available from both CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE and the Windchill Workgroup Manager embedded browser.
◦ Open from Windchill
◦ Check In
◦ Check Out
◦ Undo Checkout
◦ Update
