Save
The native CATIA V5 Save action does not differ from its usual behavior when CATIA V5 is connected to Windchill Workgroup Manager. Save saves the CAD models, and any of their dependents currently in session, to the location where they were last saved. Windchill Workgroup Manager does not alter any native CATIA V5 save functions. If you choose to use them, be aware that your CAD data is not passed to Windchill.

Using the native CATIA V5 save action to save changes to an object that was previously saved to the workspace causes the object to go “out-of-sync” in the workspace. This means that the latest file on disk no longer matches the file located in Windchill. In order to bring the object back into sync with your workspace, you need to perform a Save to Workspace action. It is also possible to bring the object back in sync by performing a synchronization from the workspace. However, all changes that you saved will be lost.
