Web Server

This tab collects information necessary to update the LDAP adapter information used by the web server that is configured with the target Windchill installation.

The Windchill Upgrade Manager can only configure your web server if you are using HTTP Server as your Windchill web server. To use this feature, set the following options:

When this information is entered, the Upgrade Manager will be able to automatically add the entered authentication providers to the HTTP Server configuration.

If Windchill is not being used with HTTP Server, or manual configuration is desired, select No for above input fields. Then all default and enterprise LDAP adapters must be manually configured in the Windchill web server.

Input Option	Default	Description
Automatically Configure Default LDAP Adapter	Yes	Set this option to Yes to automatically configure Apache Web Server with source LDAP server’s Enterprise search base. If you select No, you must configure the Web server manually. If Apache is not configured with the correct LDAP search bases, upgrade will fail.
Automatically Configure Enterprise LDAP Adapter	Yes	Set this option to Yes to automatically configure Apache Web Server with source LDAP server’s Enterprise search base node.
