Revise and Check Out
The Revise and Check Out action is available from Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. It is also available from the Conflicts window if you attempt to check in modifications made on an object that is not checked out.
Revise and Check Out replaces the current workspace object with a new revision of the object in a checked-out state. The local modifications are not overwritten. The revise action is permitted for the latest object iteration of the latest revision, as well as for the latest object iteration of an older revision. The next available revision label is selected automatically.
To perform a revise and check out action:
1. Within a Creo Elements/Direct Modeling session, select one or more objects within the Structure Browser that you want to revise and check out.
2. Right-click on the object selection and choose > from the actions menu as shown in the following figure.
The object revisions are replaced, and the objects are left in a checked-out state.
