Undo Checkout
This action reverses the checked out state for the selected CAD object and enables you to revert to the object version that was originally checked in.
The Undo Checkout action can be accessed from:
• the File menu in CATIA V5.
• the right-click menu in CATIA V5.
• the Windchill workspace File menu.
• the
icon on the
Windchill workspace and on the Object List table tool bar.
An Undo Checkout action accomplishes the following.
• Reverses the checked out state for the selected object and releases the checked out lock.
• Cancels any changes that were made to the object after it was checked out.
The workgroup manager client preference
Undo Checkout Overwrite Local Content specifies whether the object content is overwritten in cache by default when using the
Undo Checkout action. The preference default is set to
No, meaning that model content is not overwritten in cache when using this action. For more information, see
Frequently Used Preferences in the wgmclient.ini File.
