Part selection criteria is defined in an XML file containing one or many PartAction elements. The Windchill Part Creation tool XML runtime file contains parts created according to the rules laid out in PartAction elements.

Think of the PartAction element as a filter that selects the CAD Documents you want and weeds out the ones that you do not want. The PartAction Element contains the following elements:

These elements allow you to filter CAD Documents by folder location, product item attributes, and product item version attributes.
