Installation

This section contains instructions on how to install Subversion software for the purpose of integrating the software with Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.

To install Subversion software on a local machine, ensure that it is installed on the same host machine as Windchill, including Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software.

Use the following Subversion local installation procedure as a guideline. See the installation instructions for your Subversion Windows or UNIX software for detailed instructions.

1. Locate and obtain your Subversion software for download and installation. One sample location where Subversion can be downloaded from is http://www.collab.net/downloads/subversion.

From this URL, downloads are available for “sparc” and “x86” platforms. Ensure that you install the same version software for Subversion as the Windchill server. For example, choose 64 bit Subversion software if your Windchill server is JVM (64 bit).
