The large number of dependents that can be associated to drawings can affect performance if an unnecessarily large number of objects are gathered into the workspace during collection activities. For example, by default the system collects required dependents of incrementally collected drawings. However, you can control the collection of dependents of incrementally collected drawings.

If the entry, com.ptc.core.collectionsrv.engine.isIntralinkTracingEnabled=true is added to the wt.properties file, then if a drawing is incrementally collected, for example when a drawing’s related model is the initially selected object, the system does not trace the dependents of the incrementally collected drawing.
