Validating the Package Against the Target PLM System
The diagram below explains the process of validation.
Use the -validate option with the WPCImport command to validate the package against the target PLM system. For example:
WPCImport.bat -user %user_name% -password %user_password% -package
d:\work\packages\test.wpc -validate
When there are conflicts between the source and the target PLM systems, the validation process generates a conflict report. You can view this report and take appropriate action. You must resolve conflicts, if any, before you can import the package.
When there are no conflicts, Creo Packages generates a log report. Log reports are created in your current working directory or in the output folder, if you have specified one at the command line.
