The server-side customization for Windchill Workgroup Manager is generally performed by a systems administrator during a Windchill customization. The instructions for performing the server-side customization are included in the Windchill Customization Guide under the section “Windchill Workgroup Manager Customization” and in the Windchill Help Center under ????

The server-side customization generally requires the set up of user environment variables on the server and client machines. The set up for those environment variables are listed in the Windchill Customization Guide.

Customers can also create a customization on the Windchill server-side that allows the customization to be called from the Windchill Workgroup Manager Toolkit client-side using the wwgmtkServerCache::wwgmtkCustomizationAction or wwgmtkWorkspaceCache::wwgmtkWorkspaceCustomizationAction customization commands.
