This section describes the Revise and Check Out action which is available from the CAD application Windchill > Revise and Check Out menu. This action is applicable to checked in CAD documents. When this action is invoked, it awaits for confirmation to continue.

Revise and Check Out creates a new revision and adds it to the workspace. The local modification is not overwritten.

You choose whether to perform a revision (if needed) and then check out the document in single-option Revise and Check Out.
