Understanding the End User Error Page
Initiated through the Windchill error handlers, end users can receive an error message that allows them to easily email their administrator to provide the administrator with relevant information about the error that a user encountered. For example when a Windchill error is not caught by other user error responses, the exception thrown can provide just a generic error message and then call the handler that presents the user with an error page such as the following:
The error page contains the Contact your administrator for assistance. link and details useful to the administrator. By default, the details do not include the stack trace of the error. You can change the default; see User Error Report Stack Trace Option.
When end users receive error messages that contain the Contact your administrator for assistance link, they should be directed to click the link and send the email that is presented to the administrators listed. For details on the email that is presented, see Understanding the End User Error Email.

Administrators cannot manage the errors that display this page; Windchill error handlers determine what to display for error messages.
When no specific error handler picks up an error, the Unexpected Error page described in the previous example opens. Going forward, more Windchill error handlers will include the Contact your administrator for assistance link and request ID on the page that opens after an error.
