• Change Management—A change management procedure that includes change objects meant to associate design solutions to configuration items for a specific effectivity range and to address changes needed to the product structure.

• Configuration Level Structure with the Link Object—Out of the box, Windchill Aerospace & Defense Configuration Items and Design Solutions (CIDSCFG) is configured to use the Configuration Item-Design Solution (CI-DS) model for the configuration level. CIDSCFG also supports the Link Object model, but additional configuration is necessary.
