The Replace event is triggered when you replace a Made From part with another Made From part using either the Replace Made From or Mass Update Manufacturing Objects action. For information on these actions, see Replacing a Made From Part, Updating Object Associations.

When using a new change task to track a Replace event, the Made From History table records the Replace event. A new manufacturing history object is created for the event.

However, when you use a single change task to track multiple operations on a Made from association, the tracking of the Replace event differs. For example, if a change task tracked an Add event for a Made from association, any subsequent change on that association will still be tracked as Add event. However, if the change task tracked an Update event, the subsequent replace action will be tracked as Replace event.
