Example 2: Highlighting of Occurrences in Tree Structure Based on Selection in Visualization Tab of BOM Transformer
The following example illustrates behavior of the
Custom Selection action in occurrence mode when you configure the property as explained in the Configuring Custom Selection properties section of
About Custom Selection Action in Visualization Tab of BOM Transformer. Consider the following sample structure:
In case of occurrences, if you select a specific occurrence in the Visualization tab, only the first level child occurrence of the specific occurrence that satisfy the criteria set in the property is highlighted in the tree structure.
1. The property configuration is as follows:

2. In the Visualization tab toolbar, click > to enable the Custom Selection action.
3. In the Visualization tab of the BOM Transformer, select Tire Occurrence 1 (Design) A.7 under Wheel 1 (Design) A.7.
Only the first level child occurrence of the specific occurrence that satisfy the criteria set in the property is highlighted in the tree structure.
4. Wheel 1 (Design) A.7 is the only occurrence that satisfies the set criteria. Axle 1 (Design) A.7under Wheel 1 (Design) A.7 is highlighted in the tree structure
Selection Assistance > to enable the Custom Selection action.
