Inserting a New Manufacturing Standard Group
To create and then insert a new manufacturing standard group, and insert into the hierarchy of another manufacturing standard group use the following procedure:
1. From the navigation pane select the manufacturing group to which you want to add another manufacturing standard group.
2. Click the Uses tab.
3. Click the create and insert manufacturing standard group icon
. The
Insert New window opens.
4. Select options from the Context Type, Context Name, and Type drop-down lists. To immediately check out the new manufacturing standard group, select Checkout Object?.
5. Click Next.
6. Fill in the required fields (indicated by an asterisk) and any other desired fields.
7. Click OK. The newly created manufacturing standard group appears in the Manufacturing Standards Browser.
