Defining the Appearance of Allocated Parts
Parts that have been allocated to an operation can be viewed on the Visualization tab of the Process Plan Browser. Conversely, non-allocated parts can be viewed in the Tree Picker, thus providing a visual representation of those parts that still need to be allocated.
To manage the display of allocated parts, use the following procedure:
1. Select the process plan that contains the allocated parts you want to view, and navigate to the Details Page.
2. Select the Structure tab to open the Process Plan Browser.
3. Select the Visualization sub-tab.
4. Open the Options dialog box by clicking the Display > Options in the Viewing action set on the Actions toolbar.
5. Using the Options dialog define the way allocated parts appear:
Hide Allocated Parts: Removes parts that have been allocated to an operation from the Tree Picker. This action is applicable if the related assembly is open in the Tree Picker.
Show Allocated Parts as Phantom:
Show Allocated Parts in Transparency: Visually changes the appearance of parts that have been allocated to operations, using the defined transparency settings.
Set Transparency Level for Immediate Part Allocations: Defines the visual appearance of the parts that have been allocated to operations. The lower the transparency level the darker these parts appear.
Automatically Zoom to All Parts in the Selected Operation: Highlights and displays the parts that are used during the selected operation.

To display the allocation status of a part in the Tree Picker, click the Display Part Allocation Status icon in the Tree Picker toolbar. The allocation status of the parts in the process plan then appears in the Tree Picker table.
The allocation status value may differ based on your selection in the Occurrence Allocation From Any Level list when you create a process plan. For more information, refer to Creating a Process Plan.
