Windchill MPMLink Overview
Windchill MPMLink is the central repository and the design environment for manufacturing data management in
Windchill.To access and configure the Manufacturing data use
MPMLink browsers.
Windchill MPMLink supports manufacturing process management (MPM) processes using an integral solution where product, process, and resource data are managed in a single system – without the need for data duplication. As a result, there is concurrent and collaborative development of product designs and manufacturing processes, all supported by common Windchill services, such as change management, configuration, life cycle and access control. This concurrent and collaborative work environment provides the following benefits to design and manufacturing engineers:
• Constantly reconcile different professional perspectives
• Proactively validate the manufacturability of product designs, and reduce errors between engineering and production.

MPMLink provides the following utilities to create and manage manufacturing objects and relationships:
• BOM Transformer, to define manufacturing product structures and processes.
• Manufacturing Resource Browser, to define and manage physical and human resources required to manufacture products.
• Process Plan Browser, to define process plans that provide details of items that need to be performed on the shop floor.
• Creo View, to view graphical representation of parts and assemblies rendered as 2D or 3D CAD models, drawings, and images.
