Before you begin installing Windchill ESI, you need to determine if there are any discrepancies between how Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Applications handle the following object types: parts, BOMs, and CNs.

Review the information in the Windchill Enterprise Systems Integration Implementation Guide - Oracle Applications in the section Oracle Applications Attribute Length Assumptions as well as the section Object Numbering, and decide if there are discrepancies between the attribute lengths of Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Applications objects. Any discrepancies in attribute length must be fixed.
