The WVS Publisher has overall control of the publishing mechanism. It receives and responds to user requests and events to initiate and control the publishing of specific objects or structures. The WVS Publisher processes the objects or structures using specifically designed publishers that understand the supported data types and how to publish them. Each publishing request results in the creation of a Publish Job, which is then processed using a combination of the Worker Agent and Loader services, as required. The result of a successfully processed Publish Job is normally a published Creo View representation that is associated to the published object.

The WVS Publisher also now manages the processing of Interference Detection (Clash) and Print Services (Print) jobs.
