Windchill Properties
When this report is run, a Windchill_xconfFiles folder is created. The Windchill_xconfFiles folder contains the cluster folders. All properties files are downloaded into the cluster folder in the Windchill_xconfFiles folder. This report excludes the fileserver property files.
You can control the properties data that is being sent to PTC, by editing the XconfPluginConfig.xml file at <indchill_loadpoint>/codebase/com/ptc/wa/xconfpluginconfig.xml. This XML file is an include list of all the referenced Xconf files. The files listed in this XML file are collected and sent to PTC. You can edit the XconfPluginConfig.xml file using the following child sections:
• <Exclude> and </Exclude>—The xconf files listed under this section are not sent to PTC.
• <blank> and </blank>—Blanks the data of the properties that contain confidential data such as usernames, passwords, and port numbers.
• <anon> and </anon>—Anonymize the data of the properties that contain company specific data such as host names and IP Address.
