The LogicalAttributes.xml file is used to assign logical names to the attributes of business objects. These logical names are used to identify the attributes when configuring certain clients. For details on the format and content of the file, see the file itself and the corresponding Javadoc.

The file is located in the <Windchill>/codebase directory. To prevent overwriting, use the safe area procedures as described in Setting Up a Directory Structure for Managing Customized Files and Text Tailoring.
