Windchill Aerospace & Defense includes robust configuration management capabilities designed to support large and complex product designs. This optional Windchill Aerospace & Defense functionality, referred to in the PTC Solution Installer (PSI) as Configuration Items and Design Solutions, is an augmented configuration management methodology that addresses large and complex product structures. This configuration management methodology includes a product structure facilitated by specific object types, as well as a specific change management model.
