Using the JDBC Webject Library
The action and query webjects valid for the JDBC adapter are detailed in the following sections. Because display and group webjects are available for all adapters, they are described in the section Info*Engine User’s Guide. For more information, see Task Webject Reference.
In tables at the beginning of the parameter descriptions, the parameters are categorized as follows:
Required—The parameter is always required.
Select—There is a relationship between the specified parameter and another parameter. For example, the SORTED and SORTBY parameters of the Query-Attributes webject are “Select” because if you specify the SORTED parameter, you must also specify the SORTBY parameter.
A parameter is also listed in the Select column when its specification depends on the context in which the webject is being executed. For example, in the Put-Blob-Stream webject, the FILENAME parameter must be specified if no file is uploaded through the browser.
Optional—The parameter is always optional and is not related to another parameter.
