Windchill Preferences for Naming and Numbering
The auto-associate preferences for controlling parameter-driven policy in Windchill are as follows. By default, none of these properties has a value:
• Naming Parameter = <String Parameter>
• Numbering Parameter = <String Parameter>
When set to Yes (default is No), the following properties omit file extensions from name and number attributes for new dynamic documents during upload:
• Upload Drop Name File Extension
• Upload Drop Number File Extension
