In the Smart Collection list, you selected a smart collection that contains parts from upstream view.

The trimmed structure containing parts that are common between the selected parts and the parts in the smart collection appear in the upstream tree structure. The equivalent parts of these common parts appear in downstream tree structure.

In the Smart Collection list, you selected a smart collection that contains parts from downstream view.

The trimmed structure containing parts that are common between the selected parts and the parts in the smart collection appear in the downstream tree structure. The equivalent parts of these common parts appear in upstream tree structure.
