Translation Dashboard Table
The Translation Dashboard table allows you to monitor the status of your translations. By default, the table does not display results until selections are made. The Translation Dashboard provides information for information structures, publication structures, and dynamic documents.
The Apply Filter to Translations checkbox provides the option to apply filter criteria, set in service structures, to translation documents. This is useful if you have included translation documents in a baseline and want to use the specific versions of the translations that are in the baseline. The selection of the checkbox applies only to the current structure and is valid for the given session. The default setting of the checkbox is controlled by the com.ptc.tml.applyFilterForTranslations property in the wt.properties file. The property is set to true by default, that is, filtering criteria is applied to translation documents. The value specified for this property applies to the checkbox settings on both Translation Dashboard and Translation Content tables.
The Language column displays the target languages as specified in the Supported Languages preference and any pivot languages specified in Source Languages.
To view the Status of a translation, select one or more of the available languages and click Refresh on the action bar. The selected languages move to the top of the list.
The Path column displays all source to target translation language combinations for the target language listed in the same row. Pivots are included if they are configured in the Source Languages preference. For example, in a Korean ko target entry, if a source en has a pivot ja, Path displays en->ja->ko. If there are multiple combinations that duplicate a given source to target, only the most direct path is used. From the same example, if there is also an en->ko source to target without a pivot, en->ko would be displayed rather than en->ja->ko.
The time and date that a Refresh was requested are listed in the Last Refreshed column.
After a refresh, one of the following will be listed in the Status column:
Unknown — The translation status has not yet been determined.
In Translation — The translation package has been exported, but has not yet been imported.
Not Requested — The translation package has not been requested.
Translated — The translation process is complete and all translation packages have been imported.
Translated-Not In Dictionary — The translation process is complete, but the translated content has not yet been added to the dictionary. This status is applicable only for XLIFF documents generated from Windchill Service Information Manager structures or parts lists.
Requested — The translation package has been requested, but is being held until all translation documents have been approved.
The Language Code column displays the code used to represent the language in the Language column.
To export results to a file, select Export List to File from the Actions menu. Select the file output format from the list of available options. A dialog box confirming your selection opens. Select Open or Save, and then click OK.
Four context menu options are available on the Translation Dashboard table: Create Translation Package, Cancel Translation Package, Publish Representation, and Refresh. The options are enabled according to the State of the language. The user should refresh the table prior to using the right-click menu to ensure that the table is accurate.
The following table shows the menu option and in which State the action is enabled or disabled.

If there is a pivot language translation in progress that you are permitted to cancel, then the target language does not appear as a choice to be canceled. If you cancel a pivot language, then you are also canceling any target translations that are waiting for the pivot to be translated. You can still cancel a target language translation after the pivot language translation is returned.
