List of Information Elements Used in Service Structures
The Structure tab in the Service Structure Information Page enables you to display information element details for a selected structure or object. The Information Element List tab in the right pane of the Structure tab displays a list of information elements found in the associated information structure or publication structure. The Information Element List can filter the information element list to display only the information elements associated with a specific section or group in the structure by selecting that section or group in the structure.
The information element details that are displayed can be configured in the table view. You can configure the table view to filter specific information element types, and you can choose the columns to display. You can also select an information element in the list and go to its information page by choosing View Information.
The service data object that requires to be updated due to update in associated part in a service structure can be identified by the following Update Required icons respectively.

These icons are available even if Parts List is not installed in your system.
The list of information elements displayed in the Information Element List tab is controlled by preferences that determine whether to display the tab and whether to include child information elements in the list. See Managing Information Elements for more information.
Toolbar Actions
The icons above the information element table provide actions for a selected information element. The types of actions available depend on the type of information element selected:

Search
Search
Shows or hides the Search Bar, which enables you to search the information elements displayed in the list. Enter the criteria for your search in the search field. Then click the adjacent Search to see your results.
Table Views
Table views
Manages the display of information elements in the Table view. You can choose a table view from the list, modify a table view, or create a new table view.
Save any changes that you have made to the current view with the Save Table View option.

Shortcut Menu Actions
Depending on the information element you select from the Information Element List, the shortcut menu presents one or more actions:

Copies the selected information element to the clipboard. Use the CTRL key to select multiple objects.
Use the > Quick Links > Clipboard menu option to view the clipboard.

Sorting and Filtering the Information Elements List
Click a column header to sort the information elements list in ascending or descending order based on the values in that column, for example, you can sort by Number. The current order is indicated by the presence of an up arrow icon (ascending) or a down arrow icon (descending) in the column header.
You can also select actions that allow you to sort and filter default or customized views of the information elements list by clicking the arrow to the right of a column header:

Sort the list in ascending order on the values in this column.
Sort Descending
Sort the list in descending order on the values in this column.
Columns
Displays check boxes for you to select the columns you want to display in the table.
Filters
Provides an option to filter the display of the items in the list based on certain values in this column. The type of filter presented depends on the type of information in the column.
When a filter is set for a column, its title is shown in bold and italic.
Clear All Filters
Remove filters set for the list.
