Managing Service Structures
You can create an information structure or a publication structure in the following ways:
Create a new, empty structure. For more information, see Create a New Information Structure and Create a New Publication Structure.
Create a structure from an information structure template or publication structure template. For more information, see Service Structure Templates.
Save an existing structure as a new structure, selecting which associated objects to include in the new structure. For more information, see Saving Commonspace Objects as New Objects.
Save just the structure, without content, as a new master structure. This enables you to reuse the structure to create new, similar service structures. For more information, see Saving a Service Structure as a Master Structure.
You can also generate a publication structure from an existing information structure. Any filters that are in effect are applied. Unsupported objects are filtered out, such as graphic information elements. The information groups become publication sections in the resulting publication structure.
