Installing Additional PTC Products
PTC supports the installation of interoperable products. This includes having a system with interoperable Windchill PDMLink and Windchill ProjectLink. However, if you are upgrading, the products on your source and target system should be the same. For example, if you have Windchill PDMLink on your source system and you want to add Windchill ProjectLink, you must first upgrade your Windchill PDMLink system and, after the upgrade is complete, add Windchill ProjectLink.

Upgrading With Quality Management Systems
While upgrading to Windchill Dresden release from supported previous windchill releases with QMS modules, customer must install same QMS modules along with QMS Foundation (which will be selected automatically once customer selects any QMS module).
