Incorporate Customizations into the Target System
This section describes the process of incorporating customizations into the target system.
Customized Properties
If you have added or customized any properties in your source system, you should have done so using site.xconf as recommended in the Windchill Customization Guide. To incorporate these into your target system, perform the following steps:
Review the entries in your source site.xconf file and add or update the target site.xconf file. The default values of your customized properties may have been changed in the target system. If you have customized the property values on the source system by modifying the source defaults, then you want to do the same modifications on target instead of just copying the <Property> tag from source site.xconf to target site.xconf.
Copy any XCONF files that you added to your source system, and put them in their equivalent locations in your target system. After copying the XCONF file over to the target system, review all of the properties in these files to make sure that they are valid and updated for the target system.
