Using the Stop Button
While the Upgrade Manager is executing a task, it is possible to stop the upgrade. When the stop button is clicked, the currently executing task will run to completion. After that task has finished executing, you can restart the upgrade from the beginning of the current phase or exit the Upgrade Manager. If you restart the upgrade, the Upgrade Manager determines which tasks have completed and will not execute them again since some tasks only need to be executed one time.
When you click Stop, a message is displayed that the upgrade will be stopped after the current task finishes executing. At any point, this action may be canceled by clicking Cancel on the displayed message. This is the only action that is allowed once the stop button has been clicked. If the stop is canceled, then the upgrade will continue to execute normally.
