Classification Structure
The classification structure is the fundamental means for organizing object classes.
The classification structure organizes and defines objects, associates attributes with objects, and provides a basis for navigation structures. Given its importance, a well-designed classification structure is critical.
Classification Tree
The left pane of the Manage Classifications utility shows a tree representation of the classification structure driven by the namespace selected in the Namespaces dropdown list:

Use the classification tree to add and delete classification nodes. Actions are available from the table toolbar and the right-click actions menu.

Description
Expand All
Expand all nodes in the classification structure.
Collapse All
Collapse all nodes in the classification structure.
Insert Node
Create a new node.
Use the right-click actions menu or select the table row of an existing node. For more information, see Insert Classification Nodes.
Delete
After you confirm the deletion, the selected node is deleted. This action can be performed on multiple nodes.

If a parent node is selected, all child nodes are automatically selected as well.
Copy Selected Object
Copies the selected node to the clipboard.

The root node cannot be copied.
Paste
Paste the copied node as a child of the selected classification node.
* 
You cannot paste a node as a child of itself.
You cannot paste a node under a branch in which another node has the same internal name as the copied node.
Export
Exports the classification structure to a file. You can export to either a CSV or XML file.

Import
Imports a classification structure.

This action overrides the existing classification structure and it cannot be undone.

Search nodes within the classification tree.
