Notes Table
The Notes table displays the notes associated with a part or part structure.
If a part has a structural relationship with lower-level parts, those parts appear in the Notes table in the order in which they were added. You can add notes to any part in the table.
When you add notes to lower-level parts, those notes do not appear in the Notes table for that particular part. If you want the note to also be viewable from the information page of that lower-level part, you must add it separately. For more information, see Viewing the Notes for a BOM.
To access the Notes table, navigate to the information page of a part.
Create a new tab and select Customize > Related Objects > Notes
or
From the Structure tab, select Add Related Information > Manage Notes from the right-click actions menu in the part structure tree.
If the Notes table has not been added, then a new tab is automatically created with the Notes table displayed.
Table Views and Columns
You can limit the information that appears in the Notes table using the following views:
Select Name and Number to display the part name, number, and note text. This view does not include version or organizational identification information.
Select Full view to include the version and organizational identification information.
The attribute columns in the Notes table provide basic information about the parts and notes displayed. Often, table columns correspond to the attributes of the object. For more information, see Object Attributes.

Some attributes, including the Share Status and General Status indicators, do not appear for lower-level parts within the table.
