Benefit
Provides the ability to track the changes triggered on Made From associations using a change notice.
Additional Details
• The Made From History table displays the Made From associations that were added, updated, replaced, or removed from a finished part.
• The usage history can be tracked through a change notice by setting the Track “Made From” History Through Change Notice preference to Yes.
• When the preference is enabled, a manufacturing history object is automatically created to track the changes made to the Made From associations with a finished part. The object is displayed in the Resulting Objects table of the specified change task, which allows you to set effectivity for the Made From association.
• In addition to the Mass Update Manufacturing Objects action, you can use the Replace Made From action in BOM Transformer to replace a Made From part with another Made From part. The associations updated using both actions can be tracked through a change notice.
