Part Structure Browser: Using Shared Table Views
User Interface Location: NA
Product: Windchill PDMLink
Release: 12.0.1.0
Benefit
The part structure browser is enhanced to list only the default or shared table views appropriate for a context in which the initially selected object resides.
Additional Details
Part structure browser now limits the list of table views to the default or shared table views appropriate for a context, in which the initially selected object resides. When navigating from parts in one context to parts in another context, the part structure browser will provide the list of tables views available for the initially selected object and will use either the default or the recently used table view for that object.
Part structure browser now uses shared table views appropriate for a context, in which the top-level object resides. When you switch from one context to another, part structure browser will use a different table view based on the top-level object that is initially selected.
*
When adding a new table view in a context, the administrator may define it as a default table view to be shared at the site level (All users), at the organization level (Members of organization), or at the user level (members of context).
Tips:
Consider defining the default table views at the site or organization level to provide a more consistent default view for users.
