When a design team makes changes in the upstream structure of a product, it is important for the manufacturing team to be made aware of such changes so that all the changes can be synchronized to the downstream structure. The Detect Discrepancies and Resolve Discrepancies actions are introduced in the middle pane toolbar in BOM Transformer. Using these actions you can detect the changes and resolve the discrepancies.
