Option Filter: Boolean Option Replaces False Choice Capability
Product: Windchill PDMLink
Release: 12.0.0.0
Benefit
Provides support for boolean options with “Yes” and “No” choices. Support for the “Allow False Choice” capability is discontinued from this release.
Additional Details
Boolean options capability replaces the “Allow False Choice” capability, which contains “Yes” and “No” choices. The boolean option feature is easy to use and makes the implementation better aligned with other future product requirements.
When creating options for an Option Pool in a product or library context, you can create a boolean option by selecting the corresponding option from the Data Type field in the New Option window.
You can also specify the boolean option when creating a conditional rule on an Option Pool or an Option Set. You can specify either of the boolean choices in the IF and THEN statements of the conditional rules. For more information, see .
