Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software 是 Windchill 基于企业的产品生命管理系统的扩展。

出厂设置的 (OOTB) 软件包含硬件和软件制品的管理工具。它还包括 Windchill Integration for Integrity、Windchill Integration for Software Build Tools 和 Windchill Integration for Eclipse。

除了出厂时所带的功能，也可将以下集成程序添加到 Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software 框架：

Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software 体系结构使用 Windchill Info*Engine 产品、基于 Web 的适配器管理程序和能够连接第三方软件配置管理系统、缺陷跟踪系统以及版次和版本管理系统的集成平台，如下图所示。

如上所示，Web 服务用于从 Windchill 中直接推送外部系统缺陷或源文件，并能够关联此数据并将其打包为 Windchill 对象。

Windchill Integrations for Embedded Software 体系结构同样具备大量的 PTC 开发插件。用户可使用这些插件激活典型任务。例如：(1) 从第三方插件 (如 Eclipse) 中查看 Windchill 任务，(2) 从软件配置管理系统 (如 Subversion) 将版次对象推送到 Windchill，或 (3) 从缺陷跟踪系统 (如 Integrity) 中查看 Windchill 的缺陷。
