Configuring the Ability to Set a Revision Level
A key-value pair in the Windchill preference system allows an administrator to enable users to set a higher revision level than the next label in the revision scheme.
When set to Yes (default), the preference Allow Override On Create CAD Document adds a Select Revision button to the Revise user interface that allows the user to skip one or more levels of revision during a revise operation. In addition, a revision level can be set in the New CAD Document user interface. When set to No, the object is revised to a default target or to the next revision in its series.

• In Windchill Workgroup Manager, select File > New > CAD Document to view the New CAD Document window.
• You can find the Allow Override on Create CAD Document preference in the Revise category of the WindchillPreference Management utility.
