The users of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling can now take advantage of Positioning Assembly capabilities, including reduced publishing time and increased representation availability.
Additional Details
In this release, the new Publish as Positioning Assembly check box is provided on the New Representation window when creating a representation from an EPM Structure. Selecting this check box allows users to publish the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling assemblies as positioning assemblies.
To create a positioning assembly, users can select the Publish as Positioning Assembly option in the New Representation window. This can also be configured to default to positioning assembly publishing.
