Assumptions
For the purposes of this section the following assumptions are made:
• B2MML ‘Publish’ model to synch information from Windchill Integration for MES is used. However, integration using Windchill ESI proprietary format is still possible with other MES systems.
• Integration uses a File type delivery for an MES distribution target to connect to the MES system and transaction handling with B2MML format is supported for File type delivery using a zip package. However, other types of delivery mechanisms can be used by way of customization.
• Acknowledgement of message consumption happens using PostResult Web Service and not using B2MML ConfirmBOD message.
• The Windchill object Number attribute is used to identify an object uniquely in B2MML message for the MES system and Windchill UFID is used to identify objects uniquely in Windchill Integration for MES – Proficy.
