Administering Windchill Integration for MES Preferences
Administering Windchill Integration for MES involves configuring and modifying Windchill Integration for MES preferences. These preferences are stored and maintained in the same way as other Windchill PDMLink preferences.

These preferences can be found in the ESI category.
Authorized users can configure the way a response is generated by modifying one or more Windchill Integration for MES preferences. All Windchill Integration for MES preferences can be found in the Preference Management utility.

This documentation assumes that you are familiar with the Preference Management utility and are using it for tasks that involve configuring and modifying preferences.

Windchill Integration for MES preferences fall into the following two general categories:
• Preferences that are configurable. These include preferences that are used with the standard Windchill Integration for MES product without being modified.
• Properties that are used in the customization of Windchill Integration for MES. These include preferences that should only be modified when customizing Windchill Integration for MES.
Windchill Integration for MES provides a number of customization points that allow the
Windchill Integration for MES environment to be modified and extended to suite the varying list of different business needs. For more information, see the
