Variant Specification in Process Plan Browser
You can filter a process plan based on variant specification. The Saved Filters list in the process plan structure displays the following actions to manage the variant specification filter:
If you have applied variant specifications on the structure, the Saved Filters list displays up to three recently used ones.
You can create or apply a variant specification filter to a configurable part with an assigned option set using the Tree Picker in the process plan structure. You can undock the Tree Picker and search for a configurable part in the
Tree Picker Search window. The
New Variant Specification and
Find Variant Specification actions are available in the
list in the window. The part structure is filtered based on the variant specification applied to that part.
The following table describes the types of variant specifications applicable to a configurable part and process plan.
