Removing a Control Characteristic

Additional Windchill Capabilities > Manufacturing Process Management > Control Characteristics > Working with Control Characteristics in Process Plan Browser > Removing a Control Characteristic

To remove a control characteristic record in the control characteristic tab:

1. Select the control characteristic to be removed.

2. Click Remove Standard Control Characteristic. The Remove dialog box opens.

3. Click Ok. The record of the control characteristic is removed.

A control characteristic remains in the system when its allocation is removed. However, a control characteristic is permanently deleted when it is deleted from a part or a process plan.
